A unique seasonal excursion on Sal island β from July to November only.
We set out at night, between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM, the moment when the mamas β the big turtles β come out of the sea to lay their eggs on the coastal beaches.
ITINERARY:
1. Hotel pickup around 7:30 PM
2. Trip to a nesting beach (sites change to respect nesting)
3. Silent walk on the sand, respectful observation
4. Guide explains the life cycle, threats and protection
5. Return around 10:00 PM
Red lamp provided (doesn’t blind the turtles). Flash photography strictly forbidden.

July, August, September, October, November. Outside this period, turtles don't lay eggs.
What if we don't see a turtle?
Chances are very high in peak season, but nature is unpredictable.

Without flash only. The guide can take photos with their pro equipment (no flash).
